Control Your Ademco/Honeywell Security System From your computer or automation system
With the AD2SERIAL you will be able to control your Ademco / Honeywell Vista alarm system from a computer running Windows,Linux,OSX.
Arm / Disarm, detect open and closing of zones, program your panel, download programming and even monitor your alarm's RF motion and other sensors direclty from your home automation system. You can even trigger virtual zones.
The device presents itself to your computer as a simple COM port. Just attach the AD2SERIAL to the 4 wires from alarm panel or extend existing alarm panel keypad wires to this device.
You will need a Serial cable one is not provided. THERE IS NO CASE FOR THIS DEVICE!!!
The free AD2USBGUI virtual keypad and other samples are provided on the forums here. C# Examples are provided for writing your own custom modules. Here are some screen shots of the AD2USBGUI application you can use with the AD2SERIAL device.
