Looks like I have a run on serial requests...
I am just about to ship out a modified version that does serial. It required me to attach a MAX2332 chip on a second PCB I etched in my lab along with a modified firmware. So short answer is Yes. The problem is it eats up a lot of my time to do this custom modification and I cant do that unless I add to the price.
In the next revision of the board I have make this design change permanent and added an option board interface.
Did the RS-232 support get into the current (new) boards? If so, are there instructions on how to use it? I am looking at interfacing the ad2usb directly to ethernet and my guess is that a serial-to-enet board (ex. http://www.gridconnect.com/net232.html) might be better for sharing the ad2usb than usb-to-enet (the ones I have seen only allow one session at a time to access the usb port).
Yep it sure did.
You just need a level shifting adapter. I can put together a kit for you with instructions on how to connect it to your board.
I think I can ship this out for around $35 but it will take me about 20 days before I can ship anything.
Interested?
I will add this to the shopping card tomorrow with notes about lead time.
